Behind every healthcare innovation lies a story of persistence (tears), growth (pain), and collaboration (this is often the long road...). At Regenemm and the Creative Thinking Institute, our journey has been shaped by the essential need for continuous learning, understanding then gradually overcoming technical challenges, and building then re building the drive to make a meaningful impact.

Here, we share the lessons that have defined our path.

This is absolutely essential - a real hunger and curiosity for new knowledge.

In the fast-moving healthcare technology landscape, staying ahead demands constant learning. Dr. Brendan O’Brien, as founder, aims to always exemplify this through his deep personal commitment to education.


Reading, doing courses, prototyping, testing, revising, sharing with Mentors, watching successful leaders all play a part. As does getting deep into the details. You have to roll up the sleeves and do anything and at many times - everything.

New knowledge

Data Science and Machine Learning at RMIT: Currently I am undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning, building expertise in data analytics, machine learning models, and their role in healthcare transformation.

iOS Development Courses at RMIT: In 2023, I completed two iOS courses, equipping me with hands-on knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI to enhance product development and communicate effectively with software engineers.

UI/UX Exploration: My learning journey has also extended to design tools like Figma, LucidChart and Miro, helping me to contribute directly to user interface wireframes and persona development.

This commitment to learning bridges leadership and technical expertise, ensuring that Regenemm remains agile and innovative.
