When I founded Creative Thinking Institute in 2019, I wasn't trying to build another healthcare app. I was trying to answer a question that had been bothering me for years.
\nHow do human beings actually function under stress? How does what we feel in our bodies talk to what we think in our heads? And why is so much of that information — the most useful kind, the kind that could change a clinical decision or a recovery — lost in the gap between a patient, a clinician, a family member and a hospital system?
\nThat was the starting point. Not a product. A question.
\nThe early Regenemm work was about stress, performance, wellbeing, biometrics, psychometrics and mobile health. On paper that looks like a different business to where Regenemm Healthcare sits today. From where I sit, it isn't. It's the same arc, just further down the road. We were asking then what we're asking now: how do you capture meaningful health information and put it in the right hands at the right time, in a form a human can actually use?
\nThe original CTI vision — interconnected healthcare through wearable and non-wearable products — was written long before the current AI wave. It was written before large language models showed up in every clinical conversation, every board paper, every product roadmap. The mission didn't change when the technology did. The capability did.
\nBetween 2020 and 2024 our R&D moved through wearable signal capture, psychometrics, speech processing, biometric synchronisation, clinical summarisation and machine-learning experimentation. None of it was glamorous. Speaker diarisation in a noisy bay isn't glamorous. Reducing hallucination in an LLM-generated discharge summary isn't glamorous. Lining up a heart-rate trace with the moment a clinician says \"the patient deteriorated\" isn't glamorous either. It's just the work. And it's the work that taught us what AI can and can't be trusted to do in a clinical setting.
\nThat's why I'm comfortable saying CTI is now an AI-native healthcare company. Not because we bolted AI onto a product. Not because we wrapped a chatbot around a wellness brand. AI-native means the architecture, the governance, the data model, the clinical workflow and the safety thinking are all designed around the responsible use of AI — from the inside out, not as a coat of paint.
\nHealthcare doesn't need more isolated software. It already has plenty. What it needs is systems that connect. Documentation that travels. Patient-facing summaries that an actual patient can read. Data that can move between a surgeon, an anaesthetist, a nurse, a GP, a family and an EMR without losing its meaning along the way.
\nCTI is the parent. Regenemm Healthcare is the clinical platform. The job from here is to build the infrastructure that makes care more connected, more transparent, and more human.
